2026 Field Operations Log
All activities conducted by ASS CATHO CHEFS DE FAMILLE are completely free of charge, non-commercial, and open to all residents of our territorial area. Below is the verified operational log detailing our active 2026 programs.

Module 1: Municipal Family Delegate Consultations & Civic Advocacy
The Municipal Delegation Program forms the cornerstone of our institutional advocacy. Operating across 42 municipal councils within the arrondissements of Dinan and Saint-Brieuc, our accredited voluntary delegates attend public council sessions, analyze communal urban development plans, and formulate formal briefs on behalf of local households. Key areas of investigation include the accessibility of school bus routes, safety around primary school pedestrian zones, municipal library funding, and the equity of sports facility access.
During the current 2026 cycle, our delegates have submitted five formal memoranda to inter-communal bodies, successfully advocating for the preservation of rural bus stops in outlying hamlets and the maintenance of affordable municipal school dining programs. Every delegate undergoes statutory briefing on French administrative law to ensure objective, constructive civic dialogue.

Module 2: Parental Educational Guidance & Youth Character Formation
Recognizing the unprecedented challenges posed by digital screen exposure, algorithmic social media, and shifting cultural standards, our Pedagogical Support Division delivers monthly evening forums and structured parenting colloquia. These sessions provide parents with actionable, evidence-based methods for establishing healthy household boundaries, fostering reading resilience in children, and resolving domestic conflicts with patience and moral clarity.
In 2026, the module has introduced the "Quiet Hearth" initiative, encouraging families to dedicate one evening weekly to screen-free reading, family discussions, and shared domestic tasks. All materials, reading syllabi, and discussion guides are distributed freely as public domain resources. No commercial software, proprietary systems, or fee-based materials are ever utilized.

In many isolated hamlets of Western Brittany, senior citizens live alone following the departure of adult children to metropolitan areas. At the same time, young parents often lack the stabilizing presence of nearby grandparents. Module 3 systematically bridges this generational divide through coordinated home visits, community tea gatherings, and oral history recording circles.
Our volunteer companions visit elderly residents weekly, providing friendly social contact, assisting with non-medical domestic errands, and facilitating transport to village cultural events or religious services. Through our "Voices of the Hearth" initiative, local youth interview village elders, documenting historic Breton agricultural practices and regional traditions for preservation in the communal archives.

Module 4: Community Ecological Stewardship & Nature Restoration Days
Inspired by the Christian duty to care for the earth as a common home, Module 4 mobilizes member families for monthly conservation projects across the Jugon valley. Families collaborate on clearing overgrown walking paths, restoring traditional stone boundary walls, planting indigenous hedgerows that protect avian biodiversity, and managing community botanical plots.
These practical field days serve a dual function: they tangibly enhance our local public commons while teaching children the values of honest physical labor, cooperative effort, and ecological reverence. Participation is open to all community members, with protective equipment and tools provided through association grants.
