Get Involved: Volunteer Your Skills & Support Family Welfare
The strength of ASS CATHO CHEFS DE FAMILLE lies entirely in the generosity, civic conscience, and practical skills of our members and volunteers. By getting involved, you help ensure that no rural family in the canton of Jugon-les-Lacs faces administrative isolation, educational disparity, or social vulnerability alone.
Statutory Non-Profit Financial Transparency & Membership Dues
PUBLIC INTEREST CHARTERAll membership fees and dues are fully reinvested in the association's public interest missions.
ASS CATHO CHEFS DE FAMILLE is a strictly non-profit association governed by the French Law of July 1, 1901. Our organization has no commercial activities, sells no products, and does not distribute profits. Annual statutory membership dues (set voluntarily at the General Assembly) serve exclusively to cover non-profit insurance, educational study stationery for rural youth, and volunteer travel reimbursements for elder check-in visits.
Four Meaningful Volunteer Pathways
We welcome community members from all professional and personal backgrounds. Whether you have two hours a month or several hours each week, your contribution directly changes the life of a neighboring family.
1. Academic Mentor & Homework Tutor
Assist primary, middle, or secondary school pupils with mathematics, reading, French grammar, or scientific subjects during our weekly study circles in Saint-Igneuc or Jugon-les-Lacs. Orientation and pedagogical materials are provided by our educational committee.
2. Family Administrative Advisor & Caseworker
Provide compassionate, confidential assistance to household heads struggling with online CAF, CPAM, or MDPH declarations. Former administrative officers, accountants, legal secretaries, or detail-oriented individuals are especially encouraged to apply.
3. Senior Companion & Rural Visitor
Conduct friendly home visits to isolated elderly citizens living alone in rural hamlets across our canton. Share a cup of tea, verify heating functionality, assist with occasional grocery transport, and bring warmth and human companionship.
4. Civic Advocacy & Event Coordinator
Help organize public town halls, draft policy memoranda on municipal family services, coordinate audio-visual logistics, and manage communications for our annual assembly and solidarity gatherings.
The Volunteer Onboarding Workflow
To safeguard the vulnerable populations we support (children, elderly citizens, and families in distress), ASS CATHO CHEFS DE FAMILLE follows a structured four-stage integration process:
- Application Submission: Complete the secure registration form below indicating your background, areas of interest, and general availability.
- Civic Interview: A friendly informal meeting at our Saint-Igneuc bureau with our volunteer coordinator to discuss mutual expectations and confirm alignment with our non-profit values.
- Charter Ratification & Ethics Agreement: Signature of our Volunteer Ethical Charter, affirming strict confidentiality, child safeguarding, and non-commercial service.
- Mentored Integration: Shadowing an experienced volunteer during your first three operational sessions before undertaking independent casework or visits.
